Scholarship Checklist:
✅ Completed application form
✅ Personal essay (minimum 500 words, double-spaced)
✅ Proof of minimum 4.0 cumulative GPA
✅ Optional: Letters of recommendation from teachers, mentors, or guidance counselors
✅ Optional: SAT and/or ACT scores with transcripts
Minimum Requirements:
✔ Must be a high school senior in Charlotte, Collier, or Lee County
✔ Must be accepted to an accredited college or university during the year of AsiaFest
✔ Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
✔ Must have a minimum cumulative 4.0 GPA
✔ Must submit a completed application and personal essay

Q: Who is eligible to apply?
High school seniors in Charlotte, Collier, or Lee County who are accepted to an accredited college or university, are U.S. citizens or permanent residents, and have a minimum 4.0 cumulative GPA. Students studying AANHPI history, heritage, or culture are also welcome to apply.
Q: What is the application deadline?
March 31, 2025. Late applications will not be considered.
Q: Are letters of recommendation required?
No, letters of recommendation are optional but encouraged. They can be submitted from teachers, mentors, guidance counselors, or others who know you well.
Q: How will I know if I have been selected?
Award notifications are sent on a rolling basis between August and September. A confirmation email will be sent when your application is received.
Q: What can the scholarship be used for?
The scholarship may be used for college or university tuition and fees, housing, and other related education costs.
Q: How do I submit my application?
